SANY Global R&D Center officially operational

This month marks the launch of the SANY Global Construction Machinery R&D Center in Kunshan, China.

Early in December of 2020, the main structure of the complex had been completed (learn more at https://www.sanyglobal.com/press_releases/671/). A series of follow-up finishing construction work and decorating was then completed before opening day on January 7th, 2022.

The complex consists of: two stations including the academician workstation and postdoctoral workstation; eight academies including the academies of intellectualization, electrification, digitization and five more academies of various types of machinery; and two centers, including the experiment & development center and the engineering center.

During the opening ceremony, Yu Hongfu, CEO of SANY Group and CEO of SANY Heavy Machinery, noted that “improving R&D capabilities will now be a continual effort for SANY. Our vision of digitization, electrification and internationalization will be realized.”
