Makro Company, the third largest hoisting company in Brazil, purchased Sany crawler crane SCC2500C in 2012 and used it for wind-farm construction in Pecem, Brazil.

Brazil has huge wind power capacity and in recent years its government has been actively engaged in the domestic wind power market to increase utilization. It is estimated that by 2025, Brazil's wind-power installed capacity will reach 31.6 GW, accounting for 69% of the total in Latin America.

Pecem wind farm is located in northeastern Brazil's Ceará State, adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean and the equator. One of Sany's crawler cranes, SCC2500C, was used for wind turbine lifting at the farm, delivering highly-efficient performance the entire project.

SCC2500C is built with a maximum lifting capacity of 250 tons and is equipped with highly-advanced hydraulic and self-assembling technologies that significantly increase operational efficiency. Its intelligent safety control system and reinforced cabin ensure safe operation.

Sany's service engineers provided Makro Company's operators with comprehensive training in machine operation, commissioning, installation and maintenance.

The company was highly impressed by both the performance of Sany machines and the quality of after-sales services offered throughout the entire project, leading it to purchase yet another 250-ton Sany crawler crane.
