Feb 22, SANY Port Machinery signed a major order with Asia World company for 9 units of Rubber Tyre Container Gantry Cranes (RTG). It’s the largest purchase of port equipment in Myanmar. SANY chairman Liang Wengen and managing director of Asia World Corporation Luo Bingzhong attended the signing ceremony.

Asia World is one of Myanmar’s biggest enterprises, engaged with port, airport and hydropower station business in the local market. As its port business has increased rapidly, the rise of container volume has created huge pressure on the current port equipment. Therefore, Asia World decided to purchase new machines from SANY to maintain its high efficiency of container loading and unloading.

This is not the first cooperation between SANY and Asia World. Before this deal, Asia World already purchased 13 units of mobile port machinery from SANY. “SANY port equipment is of excellent quality and stability, which is one of the main reasons that we choose SANY brand again.”

SANY RTG has established its reputation in the industry thanks to its high standard and sustainable R&D input. It features superior container lifting capacity, high productivity, reliability and energy efficiency. The latest anti-sway system effectively prevents the swing of the spreader and allows a ±250mm movement of the spreader in the gantry or trolley direction, enormously improving the container hoisting efficiency. It also adopts software intelligent deceleration technology and hardware inspection protection device to dynamically adjust the time and position of deceleration, which helps decrease crush and wheel load and increase service life and stability of the crane. SANY RTG uses lithium battery as the crane’s power supply, and the potential energy is recycled automatically when the weight drops. It saves over 65% energy compared with the full diesel engine power supply.
