Coil lifting and turning device RSB

It is designed to lift roll material from its horizontal transport position to the vertical so it can be placed on a press take-off spool. This is done without damaging the material or the sling thanks to a pulley which spreads the load evenly over both sides of the sling and prevents it from slipping on the load.

There are two versions. The first (p. 40 of the catalog) uses a heavy-duty lifting sling or a stainless steel sling, and is suitable for most steel rolls. In the second configuration (p. 42 of the catalog), the lower part of the sling is a fabric strap, more appropriate for delicate materials such as copper, stainless steel, aluminum or chrome.

The RSB system is ideal for all facilities where roll material must be lifted or upended without damaging the load or the sling. It is simple to use and can be moved very easily to wherever it is needed. An RSB wedge can be employed with rolls over 300 mm wide, especially when a partially used roll must be laid flat again.
