EasyCUBE Mobot in the tabacco sector
In this application, an EasyCUBE Mobot was used to supply four cigarette packaging machines simultaneously, delivering the 20 kg cardboard bundles taken from the pallet, separating them before placing them on the machine’s buffer.
In this application, an EasyCUBE Mobot was used to supply four cigarette packaging machines simultaneously, delivering the 20 kg cardboard bundles taken from the pallet, separating them before placing them on the machine’s buffer.
Resolved Issues:
Safety: This application eliminates the need for operators to manually transport heavy bundles, reducing physical strain and the risk of injuries associated with handling 20 kg loads. Operational Efficiency: By being able to supply four machines at once, the process is automated, making it more efficient and less labor-intensive than if done manually, thus reducing machine downtime. Reduction of Human Error: The artificial vision system enables the correct identification and picking of bundles from the pallets, minimizing errors in the picking process and ensuring that each machine receives the correct material. Reduction of Dedicated Personnel: Automation frees human resources from repetitive and labor-intensive tasks, allowing them to be employed in other higher value-added activities, thereby improving overall staff efficiency. Monitoring and Traceability: The system was interconnected with the customer’s production machines, allowing it to monitor and record in real time the number of bundles picked and distributed, providing complete traceability of the process and improving inventory and resource management.
