Linear Manipulator
For a construction and earthmoving machinery manufacturer, a dedicated solution was developed for the ergonomic and precise handling of seats inside operator cabins.
The Linear Manipulator is equipped with a 4-joint arm that provides maximum freedom of movement, even in confined spaces. Its vertical movement capability further supports precise seat positioning inside the cabin. Electromagnetic brakes on each axis ensure immediate stops, while accurate positioning allows precise insertion of the seats.
3D-printed soft protection and plastic guards at the tooling and at the end of the arm safeguard both the seat and surrounding components during handling. Simple tool activation and intuitive controls make operation easy, adapting seamlessly to different seat models.
The system enables safe, smooth, and efficient seat positioning, simplifying the assembly workflow while ensuring reliability, safety, and repeatable performance.
