New MONORAIL generation of roller guideways

The "4S" designation refers to four advantages of the new MONORAIL MR carriages and stands for:

• Serviceability - Compatible with the previous generation, cross wiper easily replaced by pulling over the rails, and front plate attachment with four screws.

• Supply of Lubricant: Use-driven lubricant distribution, pressure tight lubrication channels, and lubrication in idle. Front plate configured for individual track lubrication, visible from outside.

• Shock resistant: Carriage body optimized for rigidity.

• Soil repellent: Rugged stainless steel front plate with secure attachment, double-lip back-supported cross wiper with extended service life under adverse environmental conditions.

Optimized body

A key feature of the MONORAIL MR 4S is the body that is optimized to carry heavy loads. Along with increased rigidity, the radii in the load-bearing part of the body are 100% longer, which greatly improves safety under heavy loads.

Additional innovations

The new generation MONORAIL MR 4S roller guideways have many innovations that increases adaptability to the applications, which improves the overall performance of the guideway. These include improved plastic parts for better running properties, cross wiper replacement without removing the carriage, improved lubrication in idle, and much more.

Safe and convenient lubrication

The lubricant distributors have a pressure tight design and are available in two options:

1. A single lube connection for all four tracks.

2. Two lube connections (one for each side of the guideway).

The lubrication options are color coded for easy recognition.
