Thanks to its integral design, the combination of MINISCALE PLUS and MINIRAIL allows for extremely compact applications and makes MINISCALE PLUS an extremely affordable solution for challenging technical demands. We would like to briefly introduce you to the integrated measuring system in this newsletter.

MINISCALE PLUS is based on the MINIRAIL miniature guideway, consisting of eight rail widths and up to four carriage types. In other words, wherever MINIRAIL can be installed, the MINISCALE PLUS also fits, with the added benefit of the integrated measuring system! Since the measuring sensor is integrated into the carriage and the dimensional scale is mounted directly onto the guideway, no additional installation space is required. This compact application simplifies assembly and installation. As a result, MINISCALE PLUS is an economical solution for challenging technical demands.

Less construction expense

Because the MINISCALE PLUS measurement system is already integrated, there are no further construction costs for a separate distance measuring system. This reduces and simplifies construction costs. At the same time, space is saved, allowing for a more compact design, for example.

Quick and easy to install

MINISCALE PLUS, ready to install, simplifies and accelerates the assembly process. Supplementary components and

processing, such as for glass scales or glued measurement scales, are omitted. Moreover, distance measurements do not have to be adjusted.

Reliable and precise

MINISCALE PLUS is constantly accurate and reliable. Measurements are conducted directly as part of normal operation, which significantly reduces Abbe errors. The MINISCALE PLUS is one single unit and is therefore insensitive to vibrations and shocks. The analysis of the thermal elongation and the compensation expense for the controller are reduced, since the measuring scale is a part of the carriage and MINISCALE PLUS measures the actual position as feedback for the regulation. Since MINISCALE PLUS is based on the successful MINIRAIL design, even service-life values are ultimately comparable. MINISCALE PLUS is the right solution for many applications.
