Third record year

For SCHNEEBERGER Mineral casting technology, 2015 was the third record year in succession. By winning a large number of new projects in the areas of mechanical engineering, the electronics and semiconductor industries, SSCHNEEBERGER Mineral casting technology has climbed to the top spot. This has enabled SCHNEEBERGER Mineral casting technology to consolidate its position as a system supplier within new application areas, too.

Targets exceeded

It was not just the targets for 2015 that the excellent business performance again exceeded. The first quarter of the current year got off to a good start, too. In order to handle this constant growth, SCHNEEBERGER Mineral casting technology's production facility in Cheb is being expanded again for the third time in seven years. The existing floor space of over 10,000 square meters is being expanded by the addition of a further 1,000 square meters. This investment means capacity will be increased in order to have the flexibility to meet our customers' requirements. And live up to our motto: on time, every time.

Growth in China, too

For SCHNEEBERGER Mineral casting technology in China, business in 2015 was also satisfactory. Here, new projects were also won for machine tools and laser technology, as well as in the electronics and semiconductor industries. For the current year, the plant in Changzhou is expecting growth in double figures.
