Angle Seat Valves by Schubert & Salzer
Balanced trim design pushes the application boundaries
The angle seat valves are the all-rounders within the Schubert & Salzer valves and due to the balanced trim version, they can now be used in significantly wider application boundaries. It was possible to integrate the ingenious and space saving design in the head section of the valve. Due to the differential pressure, assisting the actuator, it is possible to reduce the actuating force by approx. 97%. This means that the especially designed Type 7010 angle seat valves and the Type 7210 angle seat motorised control valves are a real alternative when it comes to very high differential pressures with much smaller actuators.
The balanced trim design is available for stainless steel angle seat valves in size DN32 up to DN80. With the selection of temperature-resistant sealing materials, it could easily be used in steam applications up to 220°C, for example.
