Intuitive use makes all the difference
Machines simplify our everyday life in many different ways. But for this to work sumoothly and for the machines not to be so complicated that they present us with insurmontable obstacles, the human-machine interface must be kept as simple as possible
This human-machine interface must be adapted to the capabilities, demands and characteristics of the users and the tasks to be completed. The following points need to be mentioned as a priority here:
• Intuitive use thanks to a few clearly identifiable input options
• Clear feedback from the interface that input was correctly recognized
• Logical menu structure modeled on human thinking
• Presentation of information must correspond to people’s capacity to absorb information
If all these points have been taken into account, it can be referred to as a userfriendly design with high "usability" in the interface.
