Cavity Free Ecotube Couplings

Ecotube Couplings belong to the group of cavity-free

connectors. They are mostly utilised when a high standard

of finish is necessary on all coupling surfaces.

Ecotube Couplings comprise of four parts; the inlet, threaded body, sealing ring and nut. The inlet and threaded body are ­secured to-

gether by the nut. During the process of joining the inlet and threaded body together, the two parts are centred due to a specially designed geometry.

The smaller dimension nuts are fabricated in hexagonal form as

standard, whereas the larger sizes are usually octagonal. The threaded body is fabricated with two flat sides, which facilitates a precise installation. The weld-ends are supplied according to the specification of the customer - e.g. orbital welding, autogenous welding etc.

The ­centring and ingress of the inlet and the threaded body are such that radial disassembly is easily possible.

An O-ring ensures the seal. According to your specification, this

O-ring can be a standard sealing or a FEP Jacket sealing ­­­ O-ring with PTFE jacket). The jacket therefore ensures that no ­contact exists between the elastomer and the medium.
