Seco’s new member in the Jabro™ Composites range dedicated for slotting and sidemilling of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) is specially designed to prevent and reduce delamination, pressure build up, and heat in the cutting zone. The 6% cobalt substrate results in excellent adhesion of the CVD DURA coating.

MAIN BENEFIT

The combination of differential helix (left hand/right hand) and chipbreakers results in a small downward pressure on the workpiece guiding the vacuum clamping forces. The chipbreakers in the geometry result in several beneficial cutting/shearing conditions.
