SELTER SPECIAL ELECTROMAGNETS

CUSTOMER-TAILORED SOLUTIONS

Recently, the robotics company INGEMOTIONS contacted SELTER for a special magnetic application. INGEMOTIONS is a robotics and industrial services company capable of automating and maintaining any type of production line. It offers no barriers to entry and realistic, but above all, long-lasting solutions. Its mission is to implement its services in all parts of the production line. They specialize in the automation, improvement, maintenance, and repair of production processes.

A few years ago, we manufactured some unipolar electromagnets for them, and this time they needed a more powerful version of the same electromagnet because they had to handle discs that were 30% heavier. The goal was to lift discs from a container and place them on a conveyor belt. SELTER used the same principle as before, but increased their size and, therefore, their power. Our proposal was as follows:

Single-pole electromagnet, Ø 140 x 250 mm
Shielded north pole, Ø 45 x 50 mm
Characteristics: Voltage: 24 V DC / Power: 300 W / Current: 13 A / Duty cycle (ED) 40% / Top cable exit with cable gland

The Ingemotions technical department considered our proposal valid for their purposes and accepted it. The result was completely satisfactory.
