These secure connecting vents are installed in place of existing connections and secure transfers between a tanker and a silo through a locking system to avoid any risk of accidents.

The risk of accidents involving storage elevators requires a high level of vigilance on the part of companies during their disposal operations. Combined with a regularly strengthening regulatory environment and to prevent the risk of accidents due to human error, it becomes necessary to optimize the processes of operations.

More robust, lighter and easier to use, this range of RGV connecting vents requires the operator to have prior authorization from the control station. Depending on the solution chosen, this authorization is either achieved by unlocking the connecting mouth remotely or by using a security key. The addition of an inductive proximity detector also lets you know if a truck is delivering its load.

In order to connect to the silo, the operator must first retrieve the corresponding coded key from the deposed operations manager. Each single key corresponds to a silo to avoid the risk of mixing.

This solution can be combined with the RFID STI key management table, Smart Key Manager, to ensure optimal security and traceability.
