How does LEEG SMP858 pressure transmitter meet hygiene standards?

The purpose of the hygienic design of the transmitter is to meet the sanitary requirements on production site, ensure that the cleaning meets hygienic requirements and the product is not contaminated by secondary pollution, to make the product totally meet the sanitary requirements.

How does LEEG SMP858 pressure transmitter meet hygiene standards?

1. No residual media. For sanitary pressure transmitter, the corrugated shaped diaphragm fully contacts with measured medium, the surface roughness Ra<0.38 and this kind of smooth surface totally prevents any residue of media.

2. No scaling. If sedimentation transforms into scaling, it’s hard to remove them by online CIP cleaning or SIP sterilization. Our product is designed to prevent any residue or scaling to avoid this risk.

3. No microorganism hiding. Defective welding may cause pores which can become hiding places for microorganisms, and sterilization operations cannot completely eliminate them. Our qualified membrane welding and the selection of process connections are crucial thus this problem could be totally avoided.

4. Not corrodible. The metal parts of the diaphragm and process connection are made of 316L stainless steel, the sealing components are also made of materials which resist acid, alkali, and high temperature. They are available for acidic cleaning, alkaline cleaning, disinfectant, or hot water cleaning.

5. No harmful substances leaking. The sanitary filling fluid meets FDA standards, even in case of membrane accidental rupture, it will not affect drugs and food.
