Based on years of experience in scientific research, test and operation and maintenance, China Railway Corporation has established a safety guarantee system throughout the whole life cycle of high-speed railway system. The safety, reliability, availability and maintainability of high-speed railway system are ensured through a series of work, such as feasibility study report review, design review and evaluation, equipment supervision, engineering supervision, static / dynamic acceptance, preliminary acceptance, safety assessment before operation, safety inspection and supervision during operation, etc.

Not long ago, Shanghai Zhichuan Electronic Tech Co., Ltd receivers the tunnel high-speed rail slab tilt monitoring project from the Academy of Railway Sciences Group Co., Ltd. ( abbreviated as Academy of Railway Sciences) . The project is located in Qinghai Province, with an altitude of over 3000 meters. The mountain tunnel is 4 km long. There is a chamber in the tunnel, with two tracks up and down. The project is to carry out automatic level monitoring of rail plate. Once the rail plate tilts beyond the preset alarm angle, the sensor can alarm in real time, and the owner can know, maintain and investigate in time.

The function of the project is specific, but there are many difficulties. They are :

1. The project is located inside the tunnel without signal. How to realize wireless communication is the primary problem.

2. The project requires data privatization, and access to external systems is not allowed.

3.The project environment is complex. There will be strong interference when high-speed railway passes through, so it is necessary to avoid false alarm and realize accurate alarm

ZCT330M-SWP-L is a LoRaWAN inclinometer developed and produced by Shanghai Zhichuan Electronic Tech Co., Ltd ., with a maximum measurement range of ± 30 ° for two axes, resolution of 0.001 °, accuracy of ± 0.005 ° and alarm threshold of 0.01 ° to 30 ° adjustable. And the alarm delay is adjustable from 0.3s to 25.5s, which can effectively shield the interference. The product adopts standard lorawan protocol and realizes wireless communication with gateway. LoRaWAN is an open standard, which defines the communication protocol of LPWAN technology based on LoRa chip. Its advantages are: simpler tracking and better public network.

In order to solve the signal problem, Zhichuan technology has provided LoRaWAN gateway and server to customers. After the tilt angle data is transmitted to the gateway, the data is uploaded to the equipped server through cable. Then, the server will be connected to the railway intranet and directly to the user monitoring platform.
