Dew Point Transmitter - Model AcuDew
For the Measurement of Trace Moisture in Compressed Air and Gases
A high performance, dew point transmitter utilising the ultra high capacitance SHAW moisture sensing technology and advanced electronics. Suitable for the continuous measurement of trace moisture in process gases and dry compressed air, offering superior sensitivity, repeatability and speed of response. Various dew point ranges are available, colour coded for easy reference, covering the overall range of -120 °C to +20 °C (-184 °F to +68 °F) dew point with an overall system accuracy of ± 2 °C (± 3.4 °F). The unit output is configurable to display in °C dewpoint, °F dewpoint, ppm(v), ppb(v), g/m³ and lb/MMSCF.
The AcuDew dew point transmitter incorporates the unique AutoCal function. Shaw Moisture Meters precisely manufacture their sensor to saturate with water vapour at its design maximum. Exposing the sensor to moisture above its maximum operating range will bring it into equilibrium and cease response to any further increases in moisture. This functionality allows the user to check the span of the hygrometer and correct for any deviation, maintaining the instrument’s optimum measurement accuracy.

Tested to withstand 35,000kPA (350bar) maximum pressure and utilising a cable with a 5 pin M12 connector thereby reducing the time required for installation and maintenance of wiring systems. This dew point transmitter is suitable for use in extreme environmental conditions, with a protection rating of IP66 NEMA 4X.
Easy to install and easy to operate. The AcuDew requires little or no maintenance and can be located at significant distances up to 1,000 m/3,280 ft from the data collection point, without any loss of signal. Pair with one of the new, fully compatible single channel displays. Choose from the AcuLoop, AcuVu or AcuTrak. Supplied ready to use with a Certificate of Calibration traceable to National and International Humidity Standards.
