AKC378 3-Axis 4-20mA Vibration Sensor for Low-Frequency Industrial Monitoring
RION introduces the AKC378, a 3-axis MEMS vibration sensor with 4-20mA current output, designed for industrial vibration monitoring, structural monitoring and machine control applications.
The AKC378 uses single-crystal silicon MEMS capacitive sensing technology and a low-noise micro-mechanical sensing element to provide stable vibration measurement. Its integrated signal compensation circuit helps improve linearity and long-term measurement stability.
A key advantage of the AKC378 is its DC-coupled 4-20mA analog output, which makes it convenient for integration with industrial control and monitoring systems. The sensor offers selectable measurement ranges from ±2g to ±16g and a 0-200Hz frequency response, supporting DC and low-frequency vibration measurement.
The sensor is also designed for demanding industrial environments. It features IP67 protection, -40°C to +85°C operating temperature and EMC/RFI electromagnetic shielding for improved resistance to environmental interference.
For easier system verification and maintenance, AKC378 includes a built-in self-test function that can be used to check the sensor and signal chain.
