RION Tech launches [MF100]

low cost, north seeking without magnetic influence

Under the strong support of Shenzhen science and Technology Bureau, RION Technology launched the MF100 MEMS north finder. It took three years of R & D production to be formally produced in batch production, filling the blank of China's no MEMS north seeker, MEMS north seeker small volume, easy to carry, high impact resistance, low cost, north seeking without magnetic influence, the precision available at present < 0.5 degrees, with the upgrading of technology, the accuracy will reach 0.1 degrees in the future.

It is well known that at present, most of the direction finding equipment depends on the electronic compass or the GPS or the disturbing / optic gyroscope north finder. However, the electronic compass is very easy to be disturbed by the magnetic field of the nearby objects. It is often unable to accurately measure the position of the earth's magnetic field relative to the equipment, and the magnetic deviation is also difficult to be compensated accurately, but the means of finding the North based on the GPS can only be used only. The appearance of MEMS North Finder will change this situation completely because of high price cost, poor impact resistance, heavy volume and cannot be recognized by the market.

In addition to the function of north seeking and six axis inertial calculation, the north finder is mainly used to quickly determine the true north direction. After obtaining the azimuth angle, the inertial navigation system begins to work, and the dynamic dip and azimuth angle can be continuously output. MF100 uses the industry's extremely low rate drifting MEMS gyroscope for north seeking, and the built-in IMU is used for tilt angle measurement and direction calculation; the reference line can be obtained from the point of view of the real north axis in the static condition. MF100 uses the MEMS gyroscope with very low rate drift in the industry; MF100 is mainly used for weapon equipment, equipment azimuth calibration, downhole / tunnel survey, engineering construction and so on.
