Component Mechanical Seals: Cost‑effective Shaft Sealing for General‑purpose Pumps

Flexible non‑cartridge seals for water pumps, waste‑water pumps and legacy equipment maintenance.

Component mechanical seals, also known as non‑cartridge mechanical seals, consist of separate loose components including rotating ring, stationary seat, springs and secondary O‑rings. All individual parts are assembled piece‑by‑piece inside the pump stuffing box during on‑site installation. Precise adjustment of spring compression is essential for stable sealing performance.
We offer multiple material combinations: SiC‑carbon or tungsten carbide‑carbon seal faces, with elastomer options of NBR, FKM and EPDM. Metal hardware adopts SS304 or SS316L stainless steel. Both balanced and unbalanced versions are available to handle clean water, wastewater and mildly corrosive fluids.
Thanks to compact dimensions, these seals fit well for legacy pumps with limited stuffing‑box space. Worn components can be replaced separately instead of changing the whole unit, greatly cutting maintenance costs. Widely used in water supply, waste‑water treatment, circulating pumps and retrofitting of old industrial equipment. Professional installation is required to avoid early leakage caused by incorrect spring setting. Standard sizes in stock, custom shaft diameters are supported.
