Sichuan Changhong Battery Co., Ltd. (National Factory No.756 established in 1971), is a state whole-owned subsidiary company of Sichuan Changhong Electric Co., Ltd. Changhong Battery is located in Economic development area, Mianyang which is the science and technology city of China. The factory is equipped with professional research and development institutions，quality testing center, and advanced production technology and equipment. More than 880 staff is working here, among of which has over 200 senior and semi-senior engineering technicians specializing in researching chemical battery and its management system. Changhong Battery has gained 45 national patents, finished and undertook over 100 ministerial and national major engineering projects.

Changhong Battery is mainly engaged in R & D, manufacture and sale of new energy battery，high power lithium-ion power system，long-life nickel-ion storage battery, Silver-zinc rechargeable battery, Sintered type nickel-cadmium battery, pocket type nickel-cadmium battery, gas recombination nickel-cadmium battery, nickel-metal hydride battery and power management battery system. The battery and service that Changhong Battery provided are widely used in Aerospace, railway locomotives, urban rail transit, electric vehicles, petroleum and petrochemical, communication base station, mining, electric tools, telecom network & utility power, emergency lighting, renewable energy (wind energy and solar PV energy), AGV, UPS, diesel engine starting, electrical household appliances and other civil and military fields.
