Hydraulic straightening press for hydraulic cranes
100 Ton C-Frame Hydraulic Straightening Press:
We are pleased to announce the completion of a high-end hydraulic straightening press, custom-built to the specific needs of one of our international customers, a leading manufacturer of hydraulic cranes. This project highlights our expertise in the design and manufacture of specialized and customized hydraulic presses, essential for complex straightening processes.
Technical Features and Innovations of the C-Frame Press
This 100-ton C-frame electro-hydraulic press was designed to handle the straightening of long, bulky parts, which are typically used in machinery construction such as hydraulic cranes. Its most distinctive feature is the large 2500 x 1000 mm worktable, which provides a convenient support surface for positioning large components. This large work platform ensures operational flexibility and optimizes the customer's production cycle efficiency.
The machine's structure has been designed to ensure maximum precision and optimal straightening results. The work table is meticulously milled and welded directly to the sturdy C-frame, a construction detail that minimizes deflection and maintains perfect alignment even under the maximum load of 100 tons.
Operational Details and Certified Safety
The hydraulic cylinder boasts a 500 mm effective stroke and constant force throughout its entire extension. The operating height, or maximum distance between the stem and the lower platform, reaches 615 mm, allowing for the accommodation of significantly tall workpieces. To accommodate the straightening tools, a small 300 x 300 mm upper table, connected to the stem, is equipped with T-slots. The press recess (throat) is 300 mm, facilitating access and lateral movement of the workpiece.
This electro-hydraulic press is operated via a double pedal system, ensuring ergonomic and safe control for the operator. Particular attention has been paid to operating speeds:
Piston descent speed (approach): 10 mm/sec
Working speed (straightening): 4 mm/sec
This slow working speed is not only a precision requirement, but also a fundamental safety measure. As required by European safety regulations for hydraulic presses, the slow descent speed allows the operator to safely handle and reposition the workpiece to be straightened while the press is in operation.
Our experience in manufacturing hydraulic straightening presses makes us the ideal partner for companies requiring machinery with non-standard dimensional and operating specifications.
