The aspirating smoke detectors feature optical dual-wavelength detection. Using the different wavelengths of blue and infrared light, the detectors can determine particle size and concentration, thus differentiating between smoke and deceptive phenomena such as dust. This enables them to detect fires early on and reliably prevent false alarms. Both models can be integrated seamlessly in existing Siemens fire detection systems (e.g. Sinteso FS20) using the FDnet (Field Device Network) bus system.
