The flowing medium lifts the piston against the force of the stainless steel spring. This causes a permanent magnet located on the piston to change position and trip a reed switch. The switch output can be used to monitor the volume flow and check whether it drops below or exceeds a certain limit.

Low nominal diameter for highest precision - SIKA induQ® VMZ 030

The range of the well-known magnetic inductive flow sensors induQ® from the VMZ series was expanded earlier this year. Besides the familiar measurement ranges from 0.25 to 250 l/min, a version for flow rates from 0.1 to 2 l/min is also available.
