Singer Valve Launches the 106/206-2PR-630 Pressure Management Valve

A standard pressure reducing valve is fitted with an extra pressure reducing pilot and a very sensitive differential pilot that switches between the two pressure reducing pilots to suit the systems flow demand. High flow demand or fire flow will cause the differential pilot to automatically switch control from the low pressure to the higher pressure pilot. The action is then reversed when flow demand falls below the differential pilot set point. The switching is achieved by installing an orifice with a low pressure drop 1.0 psi, (0.07 Bar) upstream of the valve, which also ensures that downstream pressure it not effected by the flow rate. No electrical power is required, making the valve completely submersible. A simple retrofit to an existing PRV is possible.
