New tech blow moulder by SMI: soon showcased at Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai!

Two months to go to Gulfood Manufacturing, the event not to be missed for the food & beverage operators in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.

In addition to our great, high-skilled staff ready to welcome you, at our booth (Stand S2-B34, SHK SAEED HALL 2 ) you will have the opportunity to view our new ultra-compact EBS 10 KL blow moulder in operation.

Showcased in world preview, this machine is suitable for production requirements up to 2,500 bottles/hour per cavity and is ideal for manufacturing PET, rPET and PP containers.

Available in stand-alone, as well as in ECOBLOC® version (integrated with a rotary electronic filler and a rotary capper), this solution offers several benefits:

Ultra-compactness: the preform heating section and the stretch-blow moulding section are integrated into a single, extremely compact module. This results in a space-saving design, which makes the machine suitable even for small-sized bottling lines and makes the transport, installation and start-up operations easier.

Energy saving: the preform heating module is equipped with high-energy efficiency IR lamps and thermo-reflective panels with ceramic elements; moreover, the stretch-blow moulding module is equipped with Air Master double stage air recovery system.

Maximum precision: high precision in adjustments is ensured in the tunnel by the new system for adjusting the distance between the heating and the cooling module, controlled by a hand wheel and a numerical counter, and in the stretch-blow moulding carousel by electronic drives that control the stretch rod.

Easier and faster format changeover: format changeover operations are quick thanks to the control system the down motion preform feeding tunnel is equipped with and to the system that adjusts the distance between the heating and the cooling module.
