Whilst retaining the essential features that contributed to the success and reputation of the SIRCO range, the INOSYS LBS load break switches today offer users a real technological leap forward.

• Among several innovations, a remote tripping function places this device midway between a traditional disconnector and a non-automatic circuit breaker. And with the advantages you would expect from both of these technologies:

o Compared to disconnectors, the INOSYS LBS offer remote tripping, very high performance load breaking and easy integration in cabinets.

o Compared to circuit breakers, they provide safer breaking with positive-break indication, high short circuit withstand, are more robust and have extensive connection possibilities.

The INOSYS LBS load break switches also come in a manual version.

Ideal for many different applications

They allow maintenance operations to be performed safely on the electrical system.

Safety first and foremost

The tripping device provides ultra-fast isolation in less than 50 milliseconds. Circuit isolation is ensured and can be confirmed in three ways:

• The handle indicates the position (positive break indication);

• The separation between the fixed and movable contacts is visible through a "positive indication window";

• The position indicator - mechanically linked to the sliding bar contact -demonstrates the disconnection (0 or 1).

Everything has been designed for maximum safety for operators and maintenance managers:

• Isolation is guaranteed when the switch is in the OFF or Trip position;

• The isolation is compliant with product standards (IEC 60947-3) and electrical installation standard;

• Padlocking in the OFF position is possible both on the device and the handle;

• The switch has double insulation between the auxiliary circuits and the main circuit, with a cover that prevents any indirect contact with the auxiliary contacts.

Extremely reliable

As the SIRCO switches, the INOSYS LBS range has a robust design and has been tested under extreme conditions. It is manufactured with stable and durable materials, ensuring consistent operating performance. In addition, the ON, OFF and Trip positions are insensitive to external disturbances.

Total power availability

The INOSYS LBS load break switches with trip function have a high level of temperature withstand, in terms of both high temperatures and significant variations. They operate from -25 to + 70°C, without derating up to + 60°C. Completely independent from the power poles, the tripping system withstand all external disturbance, which prevents nuisance tripping.

Their robust design is also reflected in the product's ability to withstand a very high number of operations compared to the solutions available on the market.

Multi-standard

The INOSYS LBS load break switches carry CE mark and comply with the UL98, IEC 60947-3 and CCC standards. They therefore represent a global, multi-standard solution.

The 1500 VDC model is also UL certified, which is a worldwide first.

Monitoring of PV facilities

Associated with the new RESYS AFD PV string and arc-fault monitoring system, the INOSYS LBS switches constitute a unique and certified solution for:

• Detecting an electric arc and the immediate disconnection of the PV string concerned,

• The rapid remote disconnection by firefighters in case of emergency intervention.
