pnGate PA - PROFIBUS PA network integration via PROFINET

Softing’s pnGate PA allows integrating PROFIBUS PA segments into control systems supporting PROFINET. Supporting widely accepted device configuration, parameterization and condition monitoring tools, it is the ideal platform for PROFIBUS DP to PROFINET migration scenarios of process industry applications.

The advantages:

- No need for additional devices since the pnGate PA acts as PROFINET Device and PROFIBUS PA Master

- Device configuration, parameterization and operation are based on accepted tools (support of Siemens PDM product, Siemens TIA Portal, DTM frame applications)

- Easy commissioning through optional support of R. STAHL bus-Carrier Series 9419 and Power Supply 9412 products (reducing cabling effort to a minimum)
