The control system consists of two basic components. The PLC as a higher-level control with integrated touch screen and powerful PowerPC Controller and as an upgrade for the direct connection of sensors / actuators the modular IO modules.

The control unit has a powerful CPU with 400 MHz and is equipped with a 7‘‘ touch screen. The control has a CAN port which is specified via CANopen. At this, up to 127 CANopen IO modules can be connected. The compact housing allows a use in harsh environments and all interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, CAN or supply are fitted here on the backside of the panel. The integrated LAN interface can be used for debugging, for remote maintenance, software updates or parent visualizations. Therefore the data is stored on an integrated SD card. Optionally, the control unit can be equipped with up to four incremental encoders and a joystick, thus ensuring a convenient and easy handling.
