STANDEX-MEDER ELECTRONICS TO EXHIBIT SENSORS, RELAYS AND MAGNETICS AT ELECTRONICA 2014

Standex-Meder Electronics, a leading manufacturer of precise, reliable, and long-lasting sensors and magnetic components worldwide, announces that it will exhibit a range of its new and proven sensors, relays and magnetics components at Electronica 2014, to be held November 11-14, 2014 in Munich, Germany. Standex-Meder will showcase their new KT Reed Relays, the MK28 Vane Sensor, the LS03-S Liquid Level Sensor, planar transformers and inductors, and more in Hall B1 Booth 412.

Products highlighted at the booth include KT series high-isolation reed relays, ideal for use in green applications, such as photovoltaic technology or hybrid vehicles. They will also feature the MK28 Vane Sensor, which operate when in the presence of magnetically conductive material. Instead of an actuating magnet, only a simple piece of iron-sheet is required to operate the sensor between the two Vanes. They are an excellent alternative to light-barrier sensors and require no power to operate.

Stop by the booth to learn more about Standex-Meder''s LS03-S Sensor, a stainless steel liquid level sensor for horizontal mounting. The LS03 series feature magnetic floats that activate reed switches when liquid levels rise or fall, and then provide an output signal. The LS03-S sensor can withstand temperatures up to 150°C and is perfect for applications in the automotive, appliance, HVAC/R, and Test & Measurement industries.

Also on display will be a range of planar transformers and inductors, which offer high-performance in a compact, low-profile package, designed for demanding applications, such as military, aerospace and medical sectors. There is a range of options available for a variety of applications, with planar transformer power ratings from 350 watts to 10 kilowatts. Planar transformers are custom manufactured to exacting standards with precise electrical characteristics to meet individual requirements.
