Standex-Meder Electronics announces MK28 vane sensor
Rugged sensor is ideal for use in robotics, automotive applications, and industrial automation equipment
Standex-Meder Electronics, a global manufacturer of reed switches, sensors, relays and magnetics, announces its new MK28 vane-operated sensors for harsh environments. These sensors combine the reed sensor and actuator magnet in the same rugged housing, and are ideal for applications in the automotive, industrial automation equipment, and robotics industries.
At the heart of this sensor is an integral magnetic reed switch from Standex-Meder Electronics, the world leader in magnetic reed switch design and manufacture. Actuation occurs when a suitable vane passes through the slot between the actuator magnet and the switch.
The MK28 vane sensor is available in three versions: normally open, normally closed, and changeover. All versions can be enclosed in custom-tooled housing to meet customer specifications, and all internal PCBs are manufactured using Standex-Meder’s in-house SMT assembly processes for utmost quality.
