A carpet business seminar in Turkey. The Alpha 580 introduced by Stäubli Türkiye's branch.

Located at the southeastern part of Türkiye, Gaziantep is well-known as the carpet weaving capital of the world. More than 50% of the installed carpet machines around

the world are located in Gaziantep. This makes the city a hub for the carpet business, and a very important location for Stäubli Textile. At Stäubli Türkiye’s branch office in

Gaziantep, our carpet specific service team is working on all processes of our carpet machines through installation to maintenance.

For continuing our strong image and relations with customers, Stäubli Textile teams of Bayreuth, İstanbul and Gaziantep came together on 20th of November to display the technical details of ALPHA 580, our latest carpet weaving machine and showcased a great form of teamwork. Our agenda of the day included a detailed seminar, lunch with the participants and a visit to one of Türkiye’s largest carpet weaver BADE’s mill to display recently installed ALPHA 580 UN 5 meter 480 reed 10 colors carpet weaving machine.

On 20th of December at Gaziantep, our team came together and presented details about Stäubli and our latest machine to 86 participants (which included both technical and management roles) from 47 different weaving companies. During the presentation, the content was translated and presented to the audience by our Turkish

colleagues.

The presentation attracted great attention of the audience, there were many questions afterwards.

Stäubli Türkiye’s local division director shared his thoughts about the event:

“Since the beginning of our journey in Türkiye, Gaziantep have been an important location for our operations. We have strong bonds with our customers, thanks to our local service office here. I believe this event will create us many bussines opportunities while making our bonds even stronger.”

We are really happy to achieve this great success together, enhancing our company culture with an outstanding form of teamwork, combining colleagues from Bayreuth, Annecy, İstanbul and Gaziantep.
