Drum lifter for screw top barrels
These common screw top barrels are used throughout the food industry for storing olives and fermented foods. The weigh up to 350kg and their unusual design makes them extremely hard to handle. Our drum lifter can be fitted with a attachment to suit these unusual drum types. Using the stainless steel ladder rack the attachment can be moved up and down to suit a wide variety of drum types. This attachment can be fitted to our Side Shift Drum Palletiser (DTP04) or our Counterbalance Drum Palletiser (DTP08). The design of this attachment utilises two pivoting arms on a boom assembly. The operator simply raises the boom over a drum and then lowers it down, the pick-up arms are aligned with the hand holds and drop into position.
