With the RTR-500 series, different temperature zones can be safeguarded simultaneously while measurements are automatically documented. In the bustling day-to-day environment of slaughter rooms, preparation areas, cold storage locations and counters, EU hygieneregulations for temperature can be complied with simply and easily.

The robust DIN EN 12830-approved RTR-500 data loggers are about the size of a matchbox and are resistant to both dust and water. They can be fixed easily wherever temperature control is necessary – even in fridges and counters. Up to 100 data loggers can be wirelessly connected with a base station, which automatically forwards measurements via WLAN, USB or GSM to T&D’s cloud-based WebStorage Service. Each registration comes with 20 MB of storage space, which is sufficient for comprehensive archiving.

Users can monitor their data and adjust settings via PC or mobile device, internet or app, at any time and from anywhere. Thanks to the Current Readings Monitor software that’s supplied free of charge, measurements are displayed continuously in well-arranged tables and graphs for documentation. Should a critical temperature be reached, the system relays an alert by SMS, e-mail and optical and acoustic signals via the app or on site, allowing appropriate action to be taken before damage occurs.
