Proportional Operation with Pulse and Analog Signals Made Possible with the QI Series

Have more control over your desired discharge rate than ever before with our improved pulse and analog signals.

・Signal Output Function

-You can output signals to external equipment

Unit Pulse Output: A fixed amount is discharged everytime a pulse signal is output.

Alarm Output: An alarm sounds when an error occurs.

Motion Output: A signal is output while the pump is operating.

・Pulse Input Proportional Operation

-It is possible to automatically operate the pump by inputting a pulse signal from outside equipment.

-This functional allows you to control the volume and length of time a predetermined amount of liquid will be discharged at. For example, if you wanting to discharge 100mL of liquid, you can set the pump to discharge the solution at a rate of 50mL/min over 2 minutes, 25mL/min over 4 minutes, and so on every time the pump receives a pulse. (Refer to Figure #1)

・Analog Input Proportional Operation

-It is possible to automatically change the flow rate in proportion to the analog signal input (4-20 mA) from outside equipment.

-Example 1) Flow rate control from 0-50 mL/min using a 4-20 mA signal.

-Example 2) Flow rate control from 100-0 mL/min using a 4-12 mA signal. (Refer to Figure #2)
