NEW! - ATF 400G-6

The ATF 400G-6 from TADANO has now arrived in the Middle East. Being two years in the market already and having proven reliability from crane rental companies in Germany, Spain, UK and Belgium, more and more non-European customers are now making use of the strong and versatile 6 axle 400 tonnes crane, as proven by the deliveries to America, South Africa, Japan and Australia, for instance.

With crane hire company M/s. Sayed Kadhem Al Durazi & Sons B.S.C. (c) another customer from the Middle East has now been convinced. TADANO is pleased about this from two points of view, reports Thomas Schramm, General Manager of TADANO FAUN GmbH in Germany, which is the global development and production centre for TADANO All-Terrain Cranes: “This delivery to the Middle East, a region which can have extremely high temperatures and high air humidity, is further proof that our cranes have earned themselves a superb reputation in terms of robustness and reliability over the course of recent years. In addition to the traditional crane buyers we are now seeing more and more new customers viewing us as a genuine alternative, due to the TADANO robustness and simplicity providing a superb level of reliability and ease in maintenance and repair.

In addition to the excellent reliability of TADANO cranes, above all else, the very good lifting capacities on the main boom proved decisive for the purchase of the ATF 400G-6, which is why M /s. Sayed Kadhem Al Durazi & Sons B.S.C. (c) also consciously avoided buying the TADANO Power System. Even without Power System the capacities are highest among the six axle cranes providing its capacities with easy and fast rigging, reduced transportation and very compact tail swing for narrow construction sites. The ATF 400G-6 also features a powerful ZF-TC-Tronic HD (Heavy Duty) gear box which is designed for 3,500 Nm, and is well dimensioned for the carrier engine with its 3,000 Nm. This prevents the failure of the gear box due to overload and also ensures a clearly longer lifespan. Due to the integrated torque converter, the gear box of the ATF 400G-6 can also unfurl its full power at a very low speed. This means that the ATF 400G-6 can also drive without any problem and safely on the construction site with a counterweight of up to 118 t. The carrier engine provides highest power/weight ratio and an economic superstructure engine for efficient crane operation. The economics of a two engine design maintained by TADANO provide a lasting successful investment.

Besides the ATF 400G-6, to further boost their 18 strong crane fleet, M/s. Sayed Kadhem Al Durazi & Sons B.S.C. also ordered an ATF 220G-5 and two ATF 110G-5.
