TR-7nw series: T&D boosts cloud computing capabilities

T&D Corporation, Japanese market leader for data loggers, boosts its cloud computing portfolio: The new TR-71nw/72nw is a LAN-based recorder of temperature and humidity that automatically saves currents readings on the free of charge T&D WebStorage Service. This central server enables access to stored data from PCs, mobile devices or the T&D ThermoWeb app at any time from anywhere.

Simply by connecting the data logger to the internet with a LAN cable, current readings are automatically uploaded, thus providing a remote access solution with no need for manual intervention. The TR-71nw data logger enables wide range measurement of temperatures from - 40°C to 110°C and from - 60 to 155°C (with an optional fluoropolymer coated sensor). The TR-72nw, on the other hand, measures temperatures from 0°C to 55°C and humidity from 10 to 95 per cent relative humidity (RH). For customers who require a wider range of coverage, the TR-72nw-H measures temperatures from -30°C to 80°C and humidity from 0 to 99 per cent RH. If a disturbance should occur when the data loggers are in use, warning notifications can be sent via e-mail over the network. Furthermore, the ThermoWeb app also receives visual and acoustic warning signals via the T&D WebstorageService. Another advantage of the new loggers is that power is not exclusively provided by battery (AA Alkaline), but can also be supplied via USB (5V 200mA) or ethernet (PoE IEEE 802.3af).

Their high precision and wide range measurement facilities combined with their flexibility makes the TR-7nw data loggers ideal for use in industrial as well as public areas. They can be utilized, for example, in hospitals, museums, warehouses or subway trains for temperature and humidity management and also for humidity and heating control in housing.

The new TR-7nw series with wired-LAN offers the same features as the wireless

TR-7wf series and is an ideal complementary choice thanks to its variety of network connection methods.
