Smart monitoring solutions

Sensor+Test 2017, hall 5, booth 277: T&D Corporation presents the new TR-4 series of bluetooth 4.0 data loggers

At this year’s Sensor+Test, T&D Corporation highlights off-the-shelf and tailor-made data logger solutions for convenient monitoring with the cloud. The focus is on the TR-4 series with Bluetooth 4.0, which facilitates real-time supervision of constantly changing temperature data via mobile devices. The RTR-500 series, including wireless loggers, devices for communication and data collection as well as services and software for tailor-made solutions, will also be showcased. The third flagship in T&D’s portfolio is the economical TR-7 series of stand-alone devices. Data monitoring with T&D’s networked data loggers not only helps to safeguard goods, processes and facilities, but also ensures accurate documentation of compliance with legal regulations.

The TR-4 series comprises three competitively priced models providing different sensor types and measurement ranges to serve diverse application requirements, all operating with low energy Bluetooth 4.0. Without the need for pre-registration, loggers within the communication range are instantly detected and automatically refreshed by mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Records can be monitored or stored in the free of charge, cloud-based T&D WebStorage Service. Data is displayed in neatly arranged graphs by the ThermoRec app or can be uploaded and shared with the ThermoStorage app.

The RTR 500 series is designed for users who need high performance wireless logging as well as optimal flexibility. It consists of compact data loggers that can monitor many different parameters, including temperature, humidity, voltage, mA (4-20mA), pulse, UV, illuminance and CO2. Various base stations are available in wireless GSM, Ethernet, USB and handheld data collector models. These robust devices automatically aggregate the data from compatible data loggers within a 150 metre free air range, or longer distances strengthened through a repeater. There’s no need to install cabling or to travel to collect the data, and the base stations also perform automated alarm monitoring via email, SMS or App messaging.

Additionally on show will be the best-selling TR-7 series. These economically priced off-the-shelf devices make cloud monitoring even more affordable. Visitors to the T&D booth will also be able to find out about the company’s WebStorage Service and its tools. This free of charge service enables users to access current readings from compatible T&D products in easy-to-read graphs or tables at any time and from any place. Users can also upload and store up to 20 MB per account of recorded data from compatible base units.
