MBC1: Battery-operated converter for electromagnetic flowmeters: Completely autonomous
it can also work with an external power supply that allows having digital outputs and Modbus communication protocol.
The MBC1 converter is an electronic device with a compact design to measure the flow rate of conductive liquids and that complements the versions of electromagnetic flowmeters with XT5, MX4 and XL1 converters from Tecfluid, FLOMID (in-line) and FLOMAT (insertion) series.
Especially suitable for seawater applications, drinking water supply or wastewater treatment, where large DNs are used. It is also suitable for irrigation applications, water extraction from wells, identification, and reduction of possible leaks, "dewatering" or control of natural water in engineering works...
With an IP67 aluminium enclosure, robust and with high mechanical resistance, it has been specially developed for those applications where the possibility of a power supply network is not available. It can also be powered by solar panels, a power generator, etc.
All the parameters of the equipment can be programmed comfortably and intuitively via USB, through the associated software Winsmeter MBC1 of Tecfluid S.A. available for download on the brand's website.
The MBC1 converter also has a Datalogger for data acquisition. It is an SD card module that is located on the back of the instrument.
