Tecfluid present in two international congresses a R&D project on the improvement of ultrasonic flowmeters

The presentation of this study is within the framework of the Industrial Doctorates Plan that has been carried out for three years between one of the engineers of Tecfluid and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).

One of the engineers at Tecfluid, together with the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), presented an R&D project at the "International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC)” and “IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium (IUS)” on the improvement of an ultrasonic flowmeter "clamp-on" system.

These congresses, which took place a few weeks ago in Turin (Italy) and Washington (USA), dealt with the latest research, developments and applications on ultrasound in the fields of instrumentation, technology and medicine with industry participation.

Our project was one of the documents selected from more than 500 studies submitted.

The presentation format, done by the UPC with the collaboration of our engineer, was poster format showing the main results obtained in the research as well as a series of answers to specific questions in the area of instrumentation through the measurement system by ultrasound.

In Turin, the conference consisted of more than 40 technical and industrial sessions dedicated to the presentation of successes, promoting the exchange of knowledge and collaboration between scientists and industry.

The symposium in Washington was visited by numerous scientists and engineers interested in the subject of ultrasound.

It was possible to see projects of great relevance on research in reference to ultrasound and results in the medical and sensor fields for industrial applications. The project in poster format remained on display for the duration of the symposium.
