Teldat launches its new cybersecurity solution developed for demanding railway
applications. The main mission of this NGFW technology is to protect the safety of
passengers, workers, and operator assets. Teldat's UTM, composed of HW and SW,
integrates all security functionalities into a single console, simplifying security
management and providing comprehensive protection.
To achieve this innovation, Teldat has made use of the strict IT/OT requirements of
railway operators, such as advanced IDS/IPS, SSL decryption, sandboxing, DoS
prevention, and ZTNA.
From a single console, the solution verifies the identity of each user and device,
granting the necessary permissions to prevent unwanted access (zero trust network
access). Teldat also develops sandboxing technology, an additional security layer that
executes code and files in an isolated and secure environment called “sandbox”
(without risk of affecting the main network), allowing the analysis of potentially
malicious elements before they can cause damage.
The H5 Rail UTM can operate both in the cloud and as a virtual appliance and it is
designed to comply with the most demanding railway certification standards with the
Made in Europe Cybersecurity seal.
