Temposonics was born in 1975 with a bold vision: to harness the power of magnetostriction for industrial use.
Jacob Tellerman led the way with courage and foresight, making us the first to bring this physical principle into an industrial sensor - robust, reliable, and built to increase customers’ productivity and safety.
What began as a breakthrough became our legacy: durability, precision, and excellence.

Over the decades, we evolved - from our roots as Temposonics. Solving customer challenges through innovation and technology continue to drive and fuel our business. These values and priorities endure and accelerate as part of Amphenol Corporation.

We were pioneers in industrial automation, and we transformed the off-highway machine world. Today, we can confidently say that the R-Series V is the most advanced magnetostrictive sensor on the market.
