PowerF: an open and flexible CNC

The real time multitasking operative system is developed to support to the best the most complex needs to control axes; its application management is based on classic “G-code” interpretation described within a wide library of fucntions with open source code, so it can be modified easily.

Thanks to its hardware determinism and the use of mathematical fucntions in Floating point 64 bit you can obtain perfect control of the axes trajectory which allows you to obtain complex interpolations up to 12 axis with nanometer precision.

Also operator interface, available as standard for 10” and 15” XGA touch screen display, can be personalized using the developing environment DrawingTools that is supplied free of charge.

We must also mention the incredible versatility with which the electric designer can manage drives choosing whether to interface them, also in promiscuous way, with analog outputs +/- 10V, PWM or Step/Direction digital signals, or with motion control fieldbus like CANopen, Mechatrolink or Ethercat.

Even if not based on PC technology, all Power controllers use the most common information technology as USB, Ethernet, TCP/IP, FTP, WEB server and OPC server, offering also absolute certainty of impregnability from computer virus and long term stability of the product.
