Thermal Detection Capacitance Welders
Thermal Detection offers a range of capacitance welders for forming thermocouple hot junctions. Their ease of use make them ideal for producing large numbers of thermocouples, for example whilst conducting a validation exercise, and the welded hot junction gives a more repeatable and accurate result than simply twisting the thermocouple wires together.
As well as two bench mounted units, the range includes the portable SR50 which allows thermocouples to be prepared on site where a power supply may not be available.
The units are supplied with accessories which are also availabe separately, for example foot switch, pliers, pen and plate welding jig, tweezer electrodes.
