The volumetric and gravimetric single or double screw Quick Clean feeders are very easy to dismantle and to clean.

They are dismantled using quick-release fasteners, meaning that no tools are required. The screws are secured using bayonet joints, which are located inside the screws, so they can be dismantled and reassembled by simply turning these screws by 90°.

The seals are combined in stainless steel protective covers for the simple dismantling, cleaning or the changing of the seals. The gas cleaned seals are combined in seal packages. This allows the easy dismantling of the unit for cleaning or for changing of the seals.

Thanks to the easy detachment of quick-release rings, the hopper can be removed in one piece, as can the screws and the agitator. Because of this, the hopper does not have to be run empty. In order to be able to feed another product immediately and without cleaning the device, a second hopper can be attached. In doing so, the standing times of the devices can be significantly reduced and contamination risks resulting from mixing products can be eliminated.

These properties also allow for the devices to be assembled in an insulator (wall installation) because the drive elements lie outside of the insulator and therefore the feeder can be used inside of an insulator without the use of tools.

The standard material used is stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) with a surface roughness of Ra0.8. The materials and surface qualities can also be engineered to meet customer requirements.

The Quick Clean feeders are particularly suitable for the feeding of powders and micro granulates which flow poorly and do not trickle well.
