two super strong 10 tonne UNIC mini spider cranes sold in Germany

UNIC Cranes Europe is the European master distributor for Japanese manufacturer Furukawa UNIC and provides UNIC mini spider cranes, including the UNIC URW-1006, to 27 countries across the continent through an established network of dealers. Led by Managing Director Dietlind Körner, Mini & Mobile Cranes Körner has been part of UNIC Cranes Europe''s official dealer network for 10 years after purchasing their first mini crane in 2004. After already purchasing one UNIC URW-1006 model from UNIC Cranes Europe in March 2014, these are the second and third 10 tonne machines bought by Mini Mobile Cranes Körner.

Founded in 2005, glass transport and lifting equipment hire and sale company Heavydrive is based in Donauwörth, Germany and produces customized lifting equipment for glass installations worldwide. Heavydrive now owns two UNIC URW-1006 models as well as a number of smaller capacity UNIC spider cranes in their existing hire fleet. Heavydrive''s Managing Director Günter Übelacker visited Mini & Mobile Cranes Körner''s headquarters in Duisberg to see his two new machines which will be used for a special rental project.

The UNIC URW-1006 was first launched by UNIC Cranes Europe at the Intermat Paris exhibition in 2012. Since then, UNIC Cranes Europe has also sold the 10 tonne capacity UNIC URW-1006 to dealers in Switzerland and the Netherlands.

The UNIC URW-1006 mini spider crane offers a generous 30.7 metre lifting height and 24.3 metre working radius, yet at only 2 metres wide still retains class-beating minimal dimensions for working in restricted spaces.

With a 10 tonne lifting capacity, the UNIC URW-1006 is ideal for glass installation and steel erection work where heavy-duty loads need to reach higher working spaces. As well as being the strongest machine on the mini spider crane market, this model also has a unique pick and carry function which enables it to travel with loads up to 1.5 tonnes.
