Brazil – a land full of capabilities and versatility!
Brazil is a country that is well known here in Europe. Anyone who hears the word Brazil immediately thinks of the Amazon, the largest tropical rainforest on earth, and the carnival in Rio. However, hardly anyone knows the economic side of Brazil. In the late 1920s, there were difficult times for Brazil during the global economic crisis. Apart from that, it is a country full of versatility and valuable resources. Due to the international approach of our business and the subsequent expansion of our sales network, we are able to provide our customers around the world with level measurement specialists for every market. Since 2011, we work together with Libracom as a sales partner, distributing our sensors to customers in Brazil.
One customer in Brazil is working in the animal feed sector.
He wants a suitable sensor for the feeder of a palletizer. The challenge in this case is that the sensor has to be resistant to high temperatures (50 °C) and corrosive products. In addition, the device must be suitable for a voltage of 24V DC.
For this application, Libracom recommended the RN 3001 and
RN 3002 of UWT.
The rotary paddle level switch Rotonivo® RN 3 for point level measurement is a reliable, easy to operate and maintenance free measurement device. Suitable for most bulk solids. With a temperature range from -40°C to +1100°C the sensor fits perfectly to the demanded process temperature. The rotary paddle has been working in the corrosive product for over two years now trouble-free.
