6th ISM with over 70 participants from 38 nations
Exchange of experiences, Team strengthening & Future planning in Malta
The ISM – International Sales Meeting takes place every 3 years with changing locations. Last time in 2014 it was held in Betzigau in the Allgäu region where the UWT head office, development and production facilities are located. This time with Malta as destination a sunnier place was chosen to meet from 26th - 29th April. This is also where UWT’s second manufacturing plant, Adpro-Instruments Ltd in Paola is situated. At the ISM UWT subsidiaries and partners as well as distributors from around the world are invited to exchange their experiences giving a deeper insight into the various applications and industries.
With more than 70 participants from 38 nations taking part this year many new ideas were discussed and it was a great opportunity for innovative solutions to get off the ground.
The first ISM meeting day at the Cavalieri Art Hotel UWT started with an update of the UWT strategy, sales & marketing as well as design & development activities. In the afternoon UWT partners were giving an important contribution by sharing their “Best Practice Examples” with the group. There the most interesting elements of successfully solved applications from around the globe were shared and explained in more detail. This was followed by an “Interactive Sales Strategy Workshop“ where all participants were invited to share their know-how and expertise.
The second day took place at UWT’s second manufacturing plant Adpro-Instruments Ltd in Paola. The day commenced with a company tour where Jesmond Desira, General Manager of Adpro-Instruments Ltd showcased the modern level measurement assembly lines. This was followed by a short company presentation and an Award Ceremony for best distributors of the last year.
The International Sales Meeting is the perfect opportunity to strengthen the international UWT team and to generate the future way together for the implementation of new products and new solutions on the international markets.
