There were two successful and very interesting days with our Italian partner SMERI s.r.l. from Milan and its customers, who visited us at the headquarter in Betzigau. More than 20 guests from different regions of Italy and Switzerland came together and various industrial sectors were represented who have successfully used UWT level measurement for several years.
Benvenuti! Kick-off with Bavarian flair
At the Hotel Restaurant Waldhorn in Kempten, on the evening of 18th April, the guests were welcomed to a Bavarian evening with traditional food, games and music.
What's new and what inspires for the future
The meeting continued on Thursday 19th April with a company presentation and company tour through the different departments in order to get a first impression of UWT. This allowed interested visitors to gain a deeper insight into the assembly area as well. The efficient mode of operation as well as the harmonic cooperation of technology, production and organization attracted particular interest. Thanks to the new Kanban System and clever production processes, the distribution of tasks and, ultimately, the entire workflow from goods receipt to outgoing goods are particularly effective.
Product highlights were the newest members of the UWT product portfolio:
The compact vibrating rod probe Mononivo® 4000 and the smart radar sensor NivoRadar® 3000. Topics such as configuration, product specifications and application experience were also focused. Successfully installed sensors in different material handling processes were discussed together and experiences from the various sectors for level measurement, level detection and in the field of silo management software could be exchanged. Aspects such as technology, product features, safety, maintenance, calibration, communication, certification and warranty have further been concentrated on with regard to users' current and future needs for production technologies.
The atmosphere was very positive and Ideas and future strategies were discussed. The final dialogues showed the guests a promising future with a lot of energy and creative plans.
